The Golden Nugget Newsletter Issues

The Montgomery Gem and Mineral Society's newsletter is called "The Golden Nugget". It is currently published monthly, January thru November, by our current editor, Dolores Osborne-Hensley. We do not have a December issue nor monthly meeting as this is our annual gem show month. The Newsletter is scheduled to be sent out to all our to members, via email, as well as being published here online, during the 2nd week of the current month. On occasions due to technical issues, it is received later but always prior to our monthly meeting, the third Tuesday of the month. It will always be posted here soon after it is received. The Montgomery Gem and Mineral Society has been publishing their superb quality Monthly Newsletter for decades, actually since 1970. Currently, the Golden Nuggetis the MGMS's primary source for club news, event information, articles, and commentary. One of the clubs benefits to membership is the ability to access our online archive of past News Nuggets. Currently the archives go back to 1974.

The club's newsletter exists to assist the membership in communications and to provide information on club activities. It is published monthly except for December. Contributions from all members are welcome for any information that will promote club activities or that would be of interest to club members. the Golden Nugget is scheduled to be sent no later than the week prior to a monthly field trip, earlier if possible. If you are not receiving yours, please contact the editor.
