Cab Sanding
STEP 1
As your cab progresses, turn off the water. Allow wheel to spin dry, then turn off machine. Wash your cab thoroughly with water and proceed to the next higher grit wheel to start the next sanding process. Your cab should now have its final shape but needs sanding and polishing. Washing is important so as to remove any grit, etc, left from the grinding process. |
STEP 2
To start the prefinish sanding, thoroughly wash your cab with water and proceed to the next higher grit wheel. Lighten up on any wheel pressure and contact. Check cab frequently to assure that any scratches made by saw, grinding and sanding steps are being removed. If scratches or flat spots appear, return to previous steps for removal of them. They will not be removed on this step, unless you want to be a part of the room. Once you are satisfied with your cab as to its shape and appearance, turn off the water and spin dry the wheel. Turn of the machine. |
